Rabbit Hole began the way every good collection does — with a single piece too lovely to leave behind. What started as a fascination with hand-gilded teacups grew into a curated shop of antiques and art, each one chosen by hand and researched with care.

"Every cup, plate and curio here once sat on someone's shelf, poured someone's tea, marked someone's coronation. We just keep the story going."

Hello, I'm Kate

I run Rabbit Hole from Ottawa — sourcing each piece by hand, identifying its maker and era from the marks on its base, photographing it from every angle, and writing up its story in the Journal. I only list things I would be glad to keep on my own shelf.
